Digital Business Continuity Manager

Location: Abu Dhabi (Onsite - 5x a week)

Contract Duration: Initial 12 months contract - rolling

Eligibility Requirements: Visa sponsorship is not provided for this role. We are seeking candidates who already hold a valid freelance visa or business license, Golden Visa OR can self-sponsor.

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Risk/Compliance, or related discipline.
• Professional certification preferred: CBCP/ISO 22301 LI/LA, CISM/CISSP, CRISC, or equivalent.
• Strong working knowledge of DBCM/DR governance and assurance concepts and familiarity with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 22301, ISO 27031, NIST SP 800-34) and internal control frameworks.

• 10+ years in business continuity / disaster recovery / resilience governance, including experience in large, complex enterprise environments.
• Proven experience establishing and operating governance frameworks (standards, controls, evidence requirements, approval workflows) and running assurance activities (internal/external reviews, audits, evidence packs, findings closure).
• Demonstrated capability maturity and continual improvement experience (baseline assessment, target state definition, roadmap/backlog, metrics, benefits tracking).

• Own and maintain the DBCM governance baseline: standards, framework, control requirements, templates, document control, and approval workflows.
• Plan and execute evidence-based assurance cycles for critical services (maturity/compliance checks, evidence packs, findings/nonconformities register, remediation tracking and closure evidence).
• Operate DBCM performance management: define KPIs, automate data collection where feasible, maintain dashboards (e.g., Power BI), and produce management reports on readiness, coverage, and action closure.
• Run BAU governance cadence (working groups/steerco packs, decision logs, action logs), ensuring accountability, clear escalation, and timely closure of risks/issues/actions.
