Job Description:
As a Security Engineer supporting advanced enterprise cybersecurity infrastructure in Abu Dhabi via 3i Infotech, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of firewall policy enforcement, secure tunnel connectivity, threat prevention, and centralized security orchestration. Your day-to-day responsibilities include deploying and maintaining Fortinet Forti Gate firewalls, configuring high-availability (HA) pairs, managing virtual domains (multi-VDOM), and optimizing SD-WAN and ZTNA frameworks.
You will also oversee centralized device management and policy push via Forti Manager, conduct rigorous security auditing, and resolve complex threat incidents. Furthermore, you will manage application requirements via direct email to Shaikh Mohammed Misbah Fathima at or via Linked In direct messaging, ensuring strict compliance with Fortinet certification and 5+ years network security standards.
- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise-grade Fortinet Forti Gate firewalls and security appliances.
- Administer high-availability (HA) firewall clusters, multi-VDOM architectures, and secure routing topologies.
- Implement and manage secure IPsec and SSL VPN tunnels for remote workforce and branch office connectivity.
- Configure, monitor, and tune Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), anti-malware, web filtering, and advanced threat protection.
- Deploy and optimize software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) fabrics and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) policies.
- Utilize Forti Manager for centralized device provisioning, firmware upgrades, policy auditing, and template synchronization.
- Monitor security event logs, analyze threat intelligence feeds, and execute rapid incident response for security anomalies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with IT infrastructure teams, SOC analysts, and regional client stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive professional hands-on experience in Network Security and perimeter defense.
- Minimum of 3+ years of dedicated, hands-on operational experience with Fortinet Forti Gate firewalls.
- Deep specialist expertise in High Availability (HA), multi-VDOM environments, VPN technologies, IPS, SD-WAN, and ZTNA.
- Strong practical knowledge of Forti Manager centralized management and automated policy provisioning.
- Solid understanding of core networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, NAT, firewall filtering).
