As a Network Security Lead based on-site in Abu Dhabi, UAE, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of enterprise perimeter security, firewall administration, VPN tunnels, SD-WAN deployments, and threat mitigation controls. Your day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and managing Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Check Point next-generation firewalls, deploying intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), managing secure VPN and SD-WAN connectivity, implementing Network Access Control (NAC) and Secure Web Gateways, monitoring network security telemetry, and leading incident response for network anomalies.

You will utilize your proactive troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills to resolve complex network security bottlenecks under strict enterprise performance standards.

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain robust enterprise network security architectures and perimeter defenses.
• Administer multi-vendor next-generation firewalls including Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Check Point platforms.
• Implement and monitor intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and secure web gateway solutions.
• Manage complex site-to-site VPN tunnels, remote access solutions, and software-defined WAN (SD-WAN) architectures.
• Deploy Network Access Control (NAC) policies to enforce endpoint compliance and network segmentation.
• Monitor real-time network traffic, security logs, and bandwidth utilization for anomalous behavior and potential breaches.
• Collaborate cross-functional with cloud engineering, SOC analysts, and IT infrastructure teams during security incidents.
• Author meticulous network security documentation, firewall rule audit reports, topology diagrams, and incident runbooks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 8+ years of progressive professional experience in network engineering, security administration, and perimeter defense.
• Strong, demonstrable hands-on operational expertise in Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Check Point firewall platforms.
• Practical knowledge of IDS/IPS, VPN protocols, Network Access Control (NAC), SD-WAN, and Secure Web Gateways.
• Solid understanding of core networking protocols, TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and DNS security.
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities under active enterprise environments.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong technical documentation and leadership abilities.
• Mandatory UAE physical residency and current availability in the UAE (immediate joiners to candidates available within 30 days preferred).

• Professional vendor certifications such as Fortinet NSE 4/7, Palo Alto PCNSE, or Cisco CCNP Security.
• Prior professional working experience in top-tier technology consulting firms, telecommunications operators, or large enterprise environments in the GCC.
• Familiarity with automation scripting (Python, Ansible) for firewall rule management and backup verification.
• Direct exposure to secure access service edge (SASE) and cloud-delivered network security architectures.
