Security Architect; Cloud & Zero Trust IDC Technologies | UAE

IDC Technologies is actively seeking an experienced, high-caliber, and visionary Security Architect specializing in Cloud and Zero Trust Architecture with 8+ years of professional cybersecurity experience to join our premier technology team on a full-time permanent on-site basis in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this critical cloud security role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and governing multi-cloud security controls, identity frameworks, network defenses, and Zero Trust Architecture principles.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include architecting secure Azure and multi-cloud environments, establishing robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls, designing secure network perimeter architectures, implementing Zero Trust principles across corporate systems, collaborating with software development and cloud engineering squads, and driving security compliance. You will utilize your proactive problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve complex cloud security bottlenecks under strict regulatory standards.

• Design, architect, deploy, and govern comprehensive cloud security frameworks and Zero Trust Architecture models.
• Architect secure multi-cloud environments utilizing Azure Security services and cloud-native security tools.
• Implement enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, multi-factor authentication, and privilege access controls.
• Establish robust network security controls, micro-segmentation, and secure cloud connectivity.
• Conduct rigorous cloud security posture assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability remediation planning.
• Collaborate cross-functional with Dev Ops, software engineering, and compliance teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide expert technical guidance and security architecture reviews for cloud migration and modernization projects.
• Author meticulous architectural blueprints, cloud security policies, technical specification documents, and executive reports.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 8+ years of progressive professional experience in cybersecurity, cloud security architecture, and enterprise defense.
• Strong, demonstrable hands-on expertise in Azure Security and multi-cloud infrastructure protection.
• Practical knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), network security controls, and encryption standards.
• Solid practical experience designing and implementing Zero Trust Architecture principles across enterprise networks.
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, architectural design, and problem-solving capabilities under high-pressure environments.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong stakeholder presentation and cross-functional leadership abilities.
• Mandatory UAE physical residency and current availability in the UAE (immediate joiners to candidates available within 30 days preferred).

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Microsoft Certified:
  Cybersecurity Architect Expert, or AWS Certified Security Specialty.
• Prior professional working experience in top-tier technology consulting firms, financial institutions, or large enterprise environments in the GCC.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform), container security, and Dev Sec Ops  tooling.
• Direct contribution to enterprise-wide cloud security transformation programs.
