Manager - Technology Lifecycle and Resilience
Lead the definition of a Technology/Application Lifecycle Management framework, with emphasis on application lifecycle, technology obsolescence and end-of-life risk governance.
Define lifecycle states, governance accountabilities, decision points, escalation paths and forward-planning controls for upgrades and remediation ahead of vendor end-of-life.
Lead the Enterprise Architecture contribution to the enterprise resilience strategy and target-state resilience architecture, including the principles and patterns required to improve recoverability and reduce failover constraints.
Align lifecycle governance and resilience architecture so that obsolescence, recoverability and resilience risks are considered consistently across the two work streams.
Coordinate architecture inputs from Technology Platforms, IT GRC, DR/Operations, Cyber Security, Procurement, Finance and application owners.
Establish architecture governance, traceability and decision records for the two work streams, including alignment to EA standards, target states and review forums.
Guide the Resilience Architect / Technical Architect and consolidate technical outputs into an executive-level strategy and roadmap.
Maintain the EA boundary: lead strategy, architecture and governance while operational control implementation, testing and evidence production remain with accountable delivery and platform teams.
Deep experience in enterprise architecture, technology strategy, application portfolio management and lifecycle governance.
Strong understanding of technology obsolescence, vendor end-of-support risk, investment planning and architecture governance.
Experience shaping enterprise resilience strategies and target-state architectures across applications, infrastructure, data, integration and cloud.
Ability to establish pragmatic governance frameworks, RACI models, control points, roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
Strong executive communication, cross-functional leadership, facilitation and decision-paper writing skills.
Experience in banking, financial services or another highly regulated sector is strongly preferred.
