Reporting to: Senior Manager – Integrated IT Services
Ankabut is looking for an experienced Senior System Specialist to join our Integrated IT Services team and play a key role in managing, optimizing, and maintaining our IT systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows Server environments and enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Manage server virtualization, system consolidation, hardware, and software deployments.
- Maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Exchange, licensing, and network services.
- Implement system patches, backup and recovery solutions, file sharing, and printing services.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and improve infrastructure availability and reliability.
- Support end-user computing environments, productivity applications, and academic and research systems.
- Ensure compliance with information security policies and IT operational standards.
- Guide and mentor team members, collaborate across departments, and support the successful delivery of IT projects.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- UAE Nationals: Minimum 5 years of relevant technical experience.
- Expatriate candidates: Minimum 7 years of relevant technical experience.
- Strong expertise in operating systems, networking protocols, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in system implementation, infrastructure optimization, and technical troubleshooting.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
