Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a strong Network Operations Technician strong to join our strong IT Operations Engineering amp Support Team strong
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are
- Monitor network systems for performance issues outages and security threats
- Investigate and resolve network problems using diagnostic tools and logs
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades including patches firmware updates and configuration changes
- Install and configure network equipment such as routers switches firewalls and access points
- Collaborate with network engineers and architects to optimize system performance
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations incidents and resolutions
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to after-hours network alerts
- Support end users and IT teams with network-related issues and escalations
- Ensure compliance with internal security protocols and external regulatory standard
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualification:
- Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 1 2 years of experience in network operations or IT infrastructure support
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN configurations
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Solar Winds) and ITSM platforms (e.g., Service Now)
- Experience with wireless systems and controllers (e.g., WLC)
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent are preferred
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Familiarity with cloud networking (Azure, AWS) is a plus
