Job Description
As a Specialist – Data Encryption & Key Management supporting Harjai Technologies in Abu Dhabi, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of Fortanix Data Security Manager (DSM), Fortanix Armor, and Key Insight/CCM platforms. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing cryptographic key generation, rotation, expiry, revocation, and retirement, supporting Microsoft Azure services and Oracle ERP integrations, resolving L2 encryption incidents, and collaborating with cloud, database, and security teams.
You will operate in a collaborative enterprise security environment while partnering closely with multidisciplinary technology squads.
- Administer, configure, and support Fortanix Data Security Manager (DSM), Fortanix Armor, and Key Insight/CCM platforms across enterprise environments.
- Manage the complete cryptographic key lifecycle, including secure key generation, scheduled rotation, expiry tracking, revocation, and retirement.
- Architect, implement, and support Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) and Hold Your Own Key (HYOK) integrations with cloud providers.
- Integrate advanced encryption solutions with Microsoft Azure services, on-premises enterprise applications, and Oracle ERP platforms.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve L2 production incidents related to encryption, digital certificates, authentication, and network connectivity.
- Coordinate seamlessly with cloud, infrastructure, database, application, and security operations teams during deployment cycles.
- Support platform upgrades, security patching, disaster recovery drills, internal audits, access controls, and compliance frameworks.
- Maintain meticulous technical documentation, key management policies, certificate inventories, and incident resolution tracking reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive professional experience in IT security, data protection, and enterprise infrastructure.
- Minimum of 4+ years of dedicated, hands‑on professional expertise in Fortanix data security and encryption platforms.
- Strong, demonstrable operational expertise in cryptography, including symmetric and asymmetric encryption, key lifecycle management, and PKI.
- Comprehensive working knowledge and practical proficiency in BYOK and HYOK implementation, configuration, and operational support.
- Deep practical experience with Microsoft Azure Key Vault, IAM policies, cloud security, and application network connectivity.
