Mindpool Technologies is urgently hiring an experienced SQL Database Administrator (SQL DBA) for an opportunity in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The ideal candidate should have more than 8 years of experience with Microsoft database products and hands-on experience managing Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) databases, including versions 2005 and onwards.

The position requires strong expertise in MSSQL Always On configuration, clustered database environments, Hardware Security Module (HSM) integration, database upgrades, patching and Transparent Data Encryption (TDE).

Availability:
Immediate joiners required.

• Configure and maintain MSSQL Always On environments.
• Manage and maintain clustered database environments.
• Configure and integrate MSSQL databases with Hardware Security Modules (HSM).
• Upgrade database clusters and clustered databases to supported releases.
• Perform patching of clusters and clustered databases.
• Set up and maintain highly available database environments using MSSQL Always On.
• Work with Microsoft Transparent Data Encryption (TDE).

• More than 8 years of experience with Microsoft database products.
• Microsoft Certified Database Professional certification is preferred.
• Mid-level DBA experience managing MSSQL databases.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server versions 2005 and onwards.
• Strong hands-on experience in:
  • MSSQL Always On configuration.
  • Clustered environment management.
  • MSSQL and HSM integration.
  • Cluster and database upgrades.
  • Database patching.
  • High availability configuration.
  • Microsoft Transparent Data Encryption (TDE).
• Must be available for immediate start.
