Network Engineer

Design and Implementation Design and implement data centre WAN LAN and hybrid-cloud connectivity including Azure Express Route and site-to-site VPN Configure routing switching load balancers firewalls and network segmentation for core banking integration and channel workloads Implement Zero Trust and micro-segmentation for APIs Kubernetes Open Shift clusters and Kafka Design network connectivity for DR sites and support failover testing

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Telecommunications Electronics or a related field 6 10 years of experience in network engineering with at least 4 years in banking or financial services Experience supporting a core banking implementation or a large data centre or cloud transformation Experience implementing scheme and payment network connectivity

• Cisco routing and switching Palo Alto or Fortinet firewalls and F5 or Citrix load balancers BGP OSPF VLANs VRFs IPsec DNS NAT and SD-WAN Azure networking including VNets Express Route Azure Firewall and private endpoints Kubernetes Open Shift networking including CNI ingress controllers and service mesh Network automation with Python Ansible and Terraform Network monitoring tools such as Solar Winds Thousand Eyes or equivalent

• Cisco CCNP Enterprise or CCIE Palo Alto PCNSE or Fortinet NSE 7 Microsoft Certified Azure Network Engineer Associate F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator

6-10+ years in banking or financial services network engineering
