Insurance Officer

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Handle insurance policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.
• Liaise with insurance companies, underwriters, and brokers to obtain quotations and coverage terms.
• Advise clients on suitable insurance products based on their needs (motor, medical, life, property, etc.).
• Prepare and review insurance documents, contracts, and policy schedules.
• Ensure all insurance transactions comply with UAE Insurance Authority / Central Bank regulations and company policies.
• Process and follow up on claims, including documentation, approvals, and settlements.
• Maintain accurate client records and insurance databases.
• Follow up on premium payments, outstanding balances, and policy expiries.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and provide after-sales support.
• Coordinate with sales, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth policy processing.

Strong knowledge of insurance products and procedures.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.

Ability to manage multiple policies and deadlines.

Problem-solving and negotiation skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
