Insurance Lead

A confidential group of companies is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Insurance Lead to oversee the organisation’s full insurance portfolio, risk coverage cycle, and claims management processes. This role is critical to ensuring comprehensive risk protection, optimal policy terms, and effective coordination with insurers, brokers, loss adjusters, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will manage policy renewals, underwriting submissions, claims handling, market analysis, and insurance reporting, while ensuring strong governance and alignment with business needs.

The Insurance Lead will act as the central point for all insurance matters across the organisation, ensuring policies are competitive, compliant, and strategically aligned with evolving risk exposures.

• Compare quotations received from insurers and brokers, prepare detailed evaluations, and recommend the most suitable options to management.
• Manage additions, deletions, and renewals across all policies, including gathering underwriting information, completing forms, coordinating with insurers/brokers, arranging endorsements, and ensuring timely invoicing and payment follow-up.
• Analyse management requests, assess existing coverage, and prepare gap analyses to enhance policy structures and risk protection.
• Negotiate with insurers and brokers to secure optimal terms, pricing, and coverage enhancements.
• Manage claims end-to-end, including reporting, documentation, follow-up with insurers, insured parties, and loss adjusters.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of statements of accounts with insurers.
• Prepare structured reports for management covering policy status, claims progress, renewals, and insurance KPIs.
• Provide regular updates on insurance market trends, pricing movements, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7 years of experience in insurance management, underwriting coordination, brokerage interaction, or corporate insurance operations.
• Strong experience in policy renewals, underwriting submissions, claims handling, and insurer negotiations.
• Solid understanding of risk assessment, coverage structures, and corporate insurance portfolios.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and insurance documentation workflows.
• Excellent communication skills in English;
  Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Experience working with corporate groups, diversified businesses, or multi‑entity insurance portfolios is preferred.
• Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
