To produce, adapt, and quality-assure Arabic-language content across IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi s communication channels, ensuring that institutional messaging is conveyed with equivalent clarity, accuracy, and cultural resonance in Arabic as in English.

• Draft Arabic copy for the website, campaigns, social media, emails, brochures, and event materials.
• Transcreate between Arabic and English, adapting tone and structure rather than translating literally.
• Proofread and edit Arabic copy for grammar, terminology, and consistency before publication.
• Maintain the Arabic style guide and bilingual glossary of academic and institutional terms.
• Review Arabic and bilingual layouts with designers, covering right-to-left composition and typography.
• Support PR with Arabic releases and statements, and brief and check external translation vendors.
• Convert existing materials into Arabic versions for marketing & communications.

• Native or near-native Arabic writing in Modern Standard Arabic, with strong English reading and writing. Portfolio of published or academic Arabic copy.
• Understands transcreation, not just translation, and Arabic right-to-left layout conventions.
• Awareness of UAE cultural context, official terminology, and forms of address.
• Strong attention to detail and openness to editorial feedback.

• Bachelor s degree in Arabic language and literature, translation, communications, journalism, or a related field.
• 4-6 years in copywriting, editorial, translation, or content support; internships or academic projects acceptable.
