Job Overview
The Logistics Specialist will support the operations of Raytheon’s new Coyote program located in the Tawazun Industrial Park (TIP). They will oversee inbound and outbound material flows, ensuring accurate documentation, inventory accuracy, traceability, and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities- Inbound / Outbound Shipments
- Lead all inbound receiving activities; verify quantity, part numbers, revisions, batch/lot numbers, and shelf‑life data against documentation before system receipt.
- Ensure materials are identified, labelled, and segregated correctly upon receipt.
- Resolve receiving issues or holds in coordination with Procurement and suppliers.
- Coordinate with Quality for incoming inspection and NCR handling.
- Ensure timely GRN posting in ERP systems to support planning, inventory accuracy, and financial reconciliation.
- Oversee all shipping and dispatch activities, ensuring shipments are on time and compliant with customers, regulatory, and QMS requirements.
- Verify completeness and accuracy of shipping documentation such as delivery notes, certificates, packing lists, labelling, and customs paperwork.
- Coordinate with Logistics, Freight forwarders and TIP security to facilitate material transfer in and out of TIP.
- Inventory Management & Control
- Own inventory control activities, ensuring stock accuracy, visual markings, correct transactions, and proper material movement.
- Ensure material is stored in designated location in warehouse per OEM requirements.
- Monitor bin location management, barcode scanning, and MRP updates to maintain real‑time inventory accuracy.
- Control and manage shelf‑life controlled items, including FIFO compliance.
- Conduct cycle counts, investigate variances, and implement corrective actions.
- Follow EHS guidelines for handling and storage of hazardous items and coordinate waste collection and disposal.
- Operational Support
- Coordinate material kitting in line with production plans and work orders.
- Ensure material availability aligns with planning and production schedule.
- Support point‑of‑use, kanban, and milk‑cart operations to ensure timely material supply to production lines.
- Collaborate with Planning and Production teams to support production priorities and delivery commitments.
- Act as liaison with Procurement on shortages, discrepancies, and supplier delivery issues.
- Serve as primary contact across Supplier, Customers, Procurement, Customs, and Global Trade teams to support logistics operations.
- Documentation, Records and Reporting
- Maintain accurate customs and compliance records, including import/export documentation, HS codes, material certificates, material movement records, GRNs, and shipping paperwork.
- Control and archive customs records, import/export documentation, and compliance files.
- Ensure scanning and electronic storage of work orders and material records for audit and traceability.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports covering KPIs such as inventory status, shortages, cycle‑count accuracy, and receiving/shipping status.
- Support audits (internal, customer, regulatory) by maintaining accurate, traceable, and compliant material and documentation records.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material flow, inventory accuracy, and warehouse efficiency.
- You Must Have:
- A University Degree in Supply Chain Operations or Logistics (preferred); or equivalent experience (typically 2–4 years).
- 3‑5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, and material handling in defense or aerospace industry.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, traceability requirements, shelf‑life management, and documentation control.
- Hands‑on experience with ERP‑based inventory modules, material tracking, and inventory control tools.
- We Prefer:
- High attention to details and documentation discipline.
- Leadership mindset with hands‑on execution capability.
- Good skill in MS Excel and data analysis (pivot tables, trackers, dashboards).
- Ability to work in a highly controlled, constraint‑driven production environment.
