Purchase Assistant - Procurement & Supply Chain - Female UAE National

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase raw materials, scrap alloys, chemicals, sand, binders, consumables, and machine spares required for foundry operations.
• Communicate with local and international suppliers for quotations, negotiations, and order confirmations.
• Prepare and process purchase orders ensuring accuracy in specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with stores to track stock levels and initiate timely replenishment.
• Follow up on shipments, delivery schedules, and transport arrangements for factory materials.
• Ensure purchased items meet technical specifications and quality standards required for foundry operations.
• Maintain vendor records, price lists, contracts, and purchase documentation.
• Assist in price comparison, negotiation, and cost saving initiatives.
• Work closely with production, maintenance, and finance teams for approvals, material planning, and invoice processing.
• Update purchase entries, GRN follow-ups, and supplier invoices in ERP system.

• Technical knowledge of foundry raw materials, consumables, and machine spare parts.
• Negotiation skills for supplier dealings.
• ERP & MS Office proficiency.
• Documentation accuracy and attention to detail.
• Communication skills for internal and external coordination.
• Time management in handling multiple purchase requests.
• Basic finance understanding for invoice and LPO processing.
• Minimum:
  Bachelor's degree; preferred:
  Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or foundry procurement (preferred).
