Position: KEZAD UAE, United Arab Emirates Procurement Specialist Supply Chain

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing procurement activities, optimizing purchasing processes, and ensuring cost-effective sourcing of materials and services for O&G related manufacturing and service provision. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships, and a focus on driving efficiency and compliance within the supply chain.

  • Strategic Procurement Planning:
    Collaborate with all departments to assess demand, align purchasing strategies with company needs, and ensure procurement activities remain within the approved budget.
  • Vendor Sourcing & Management:
    Conduct multi-vendor sourcing activities, manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and oversee procurement processes for manufacturing and maintenance supplies.
  • Supplier Negotiation:
    Negotiate pricing, quality standards, delivery schedules, and other terms with suppliers to secure the best value while ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Contract & Order Management:
    Draft and review contracts in collaboration with the legal team, issue purchase orders, and verify invoices to ensure accuracy in goods and services received.
  • Supply Chain Coordination:
    Track and expedite orders, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality and quantity requirements as per Purchase Order (PO) specifications.
  • Legal & Compliance Alignment:
    Work closely with the company’s legal team to ensure procurement contracts comply with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Record-Keeping & Documentation:
    Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, shipments, invoices, and contract documents, ensuring timely submission to the Finance Department.
  • Contractor Performance Management:
    Monitor and evaluate supplier and contractor performance, ensuring adherence to schedules, contractual obligations, and compliance with agreed-upon terms.
  • Value Optimization & Risk Mitigation:
    Maximize value from procurement expenditures while ensuring continuity of supply and mitigating risks related to shortages or cost fluctuations.
  • Complex Procurement Handling:
    Manage the procurement of high-value and technically complex items, conducting strategic negotiations with both local and international suppliers.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control:
    Assist in the preparation of the procurement budget and actively monitor performance against budget to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Dispute Resolution:
    Address and resolve disputes with suppliers related to quality, pricing, or delivery delays, handling claims and counterclaims professionally to protect TGT’s interests.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent
  • 4 - 6 years of similar experience in Procurement function preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain and procurement functions.
  • Good understanding of equipment, materials, and suppliers supporting the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Experience in contract management, supplier coordination, and procurement processes.
  • Excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Accurate, detail-oriented, and able to maintain proper documentation and records.
  • Good personal and interpersonal skills with a professional and collaborative approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
