Transactional Buyer

We are seeking a Transactional Buyer with 5+ years of procurement experience in a fast-paced transactional sourcing environment. The role is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for assigned materials and services, ensuring timely sourcing, competitive pricing, supplier performance, and compliance with company procurement policies. The successful candidate will support category management through market research, stakeholder engagement, supplier relationship management, and data-driven sourcing while maintaining short procurement cycle times and achieving procurement KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the complete procurement cycle from Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) for assigned materials and services.
• Manage RFQs/RFPs, evaluate commercial offers, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure best value for the organization.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to clarify technical and commercial requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and procurement lead times to ensure timely execution.
• Maintain accurate procurement records in SAP/ERP systems and prepare procurement reports and KPI dashboards.
• Support category management through market analysis, supplier research, and sourcing strategy implementation.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, Delegation of Authority (DOA), ethical sourcing practices, and HSE requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience

• Experience using SAP ERP or similar procurement systems.
• Strong commercial negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English is essential;
  Arabic is preferred.
