Procurement section head

Manage the end-to-end procurement, tendering, and contract management processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supplier prequalification, selection, negotiation, and performance management.
• Review and approve purchase requests, ensuring compliance with policies and budget.
• Prepare procurement documentation, including RFPs, evaluation criteria, and procurement guidelines.
• Evaluate technical and commercial proposals and coordinate contract awards.
• Oversee the issuance of purchase orders and monitor contract execution and supplier delivery.
• Manage contract amendments, change orders, and supplier claims.
• Ensure goods and services meet quality, technical, and contractual requirements.
• Establish and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with stakeholders.
• Oversee inventory management, stock control, and periodic inventory audits.
• Analyze procurement spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure value for money.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and governance standards.
