We are seeking an experienced Storekeeper to join our Oil & Gas EPC project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, and issuance of project materials, tools, equipment, and consumables. The role plays a key part in ensuring smooth project execution by maintaining accurate stock records, supporting material traceability, and ensuring compliance with company quality and HSE requirements.

YOUR ROLEAs our Storekeeper, you will
Material Receiving & Inspection- Receive project materials, tools, equipment, and consumables from suppliers and vendors.
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders, delivery notes, packing lists, and project requirements.
- Inspect materials for quantity, quality, damage, and compliance with applicable specifications and certifications.
- Report damaged, missing, or non-conforming materials to Procurement and QA/QC teams.
- Ensure all material documentation and certifications are properly recorded and maintained.
- Ensure safe, organized, and efficient storage of project materials and equipment.
- Maintain proper identification, segregation, labeling, and preservation of materials.
- Implement inventory control methods such as FIFO/LIFO in accordance with project procedures.
- Maintain accurate stock records using manual logs and/or ERP inventory systems.
- Conduct routine stock checks, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations.
- Monitor storage conditions to prevent deterioration, loss, or damage of materials.
- Issue materials, tools, and equipment based on approved requisitions.
- Maintain accurate records of material issuance, returns, transfers, and stock movements.
- Coordinate timely delivery of materials to construction, commissioning, and maintenance teams.
- Monitor material consumption and update inventory balances accordingly.
- Support efficient material availability to avoid project delays and work stoppages.
- Work closely with Procurement, Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, and Project teams regarding material requirements.
- Notify stakeholders of material shortages, delivery delays, and replenishment requirements.
- Participate in project coordination meetings when required.
- Liaise with clients, inspectors, and subcontractors during material inspections and verification activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, project procedures, and HSE requirements.
- Follow proper handling and storage practices for hazardous, critical, and sensitive materials.
- Adhere to site safety regulations, permit-to-work systems, and PPE requirements.
- Support material traceability and quality documentation requirements.
- Assist with internal and external audits as required.
- Maintain accurate records of receipts, issues, stock balances, transfers, and returns.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Maintain material certificates, inspection records, calibration records, and warranty information where applicable.
- Ensure all warehouse documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
- Minimum High School / Secondary School Certificate.
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, or Material Controller in Oil & Gas, EPC, EPCM, Industrial Construction, or Infrastructure projects.
- Experience handling project materials in large-scale construction environments.
- Familiarity with ERP and inventory management systems is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control practices.
- Ability to manage material records accurately and systematically.
- Good understanding of material preservation, storage, and traceability requirements.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
