We are looking for an experienced Supplier Relationship Management Specialist for a leading organization in Abu Dhabi.
The role will manage suppliers from registration and onboarding through to risk checks, performance reviews and relationship management. The successful candidate will ensure that supplier information is accurate, compliant and properly maintained in the company’s systems.
Key Responsibilities- Manage supplier registration, qualification and onboarding.
- Review supplier documents and information for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate due diligence, risk and conflict-of-interest checks.
- Create and update supplier records in Oracle Fusion or other ERP systems.
- Maintain accurate supplier data and prevent duplicate records.
- Monitor expired licences, certificates, ICV status and regulatory documents.
- Coordinate with Finance to verify bank, tax and payment information.
- Identify suppliers that require additional checks or closer monitoring.
- Support supplier suspension, blocking or blacklisting when required.
- Group suppliers according to their value, importance and risk.
- Monitor supplier performance through scorecards and regular reviews.
- Follow up on performance issues and supplier improvement plans.
- Build strong working relationships with key suppliers.
- Prepare supplier performance, risk and KPI reports.
- Recommend improvements to supplier processes, controls and reporting.
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5–8 years of experience in supplier management, vendor management, procurement or supply-chain operations.
- Experience in supplier registration, onboarding and qualification.
- Knowledge of supplier risk, due diligence, compliance and master-data management.
- Experience with supplier performance reviews and scorecards.
- Experience using an ERP or procurement system;
Oracle Fusion is preferred . - Strong reporting, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- CIPS, CPSM, CPM or a similar certification is an advantage.
- Experience in financial services, investment, government or another regulated sector is preferred.
- Arabic language skills and a postgraduate degree are advantages but not required.
