Job Summary
One of our clients in Abu Dhabi is looking for Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, end-to-end supply chain and logistics activities, covering pre-award procurement support and post-award execution. The role ensures timely tender support, efficient sourcing, compliant logistics execution, risk mitigation, and cost optimization in a complex, defense-focused operating environment.

- Lead and structure the Supply Chain & Logistics function across procurement, logistics, and delivery execution.
- Lead and develop the Supply Chain and Logistics team to improve operational efficiency and promote a collaborative teamwork culture.
- Establish clear segregation between pre-award support and post-award execution activities.
- Oversee supplier sourcing, RFQ management, procurement strategy, and supplier performance.
- Ensure compliant execution of logistics, shipping, customs clearance, export controls, and phased deliveries.
- Implement and enforce supply chain policies, procedures, KPIs, and reporting frameworks.
- Strengthen coordination with Commercial, Contract Management, and Finance functions.
- Manage operational risks related to suppliers, logistics, delivery timelines, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement, system adoption (ERP), and documentation discipline.
- Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong knowledge of defense-sector procurement and international supply chains.
- Expertise in logistics, Incoterms, export licenses, customs regulations, and delivery risk management.
- Experience with ERP systems and structured reporting environments.
- Solid understanding of contract execution interfaces and supplier risk mitigation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Master’s degree or professional certification (CIPS, CSCP, PMP) is an advantage.
- Minimum of 10–12 years of progressively responsible experience in Supply Chain functions, with at least 3–4 years in the defense and security industry.
