- Develop and implement logistics strategies that align with organizational goals and customer needs, enhancing service levels.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations related to transportation and customs, mitigating legal risks.
- Utilize advanced logistics software and tools for tracking shipments and managing fleet operations efficiently.
- Monitor and report on logistics performance, providing actionable insights to upper management for decision-making.
- Lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Prepare and manage budgets for logistics operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with inventory management systems (IMS) and logistics software; certifications in relevant tools are a plus.
- Knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping procedures is essential for managing cross-border logistics.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is highly desirable for global operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions to drive efficiency.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Proven leadership abilities to manage teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on problem-solving and logistics optimization.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have the physical ability to handle logistics-related tasks, including lifting and moving inventory.
