Raven Co is looking for a Purchase Manager to oversee purchasing, supplier coordination, inventory and storeroom operations. The role focuses on securing competitive prices, maintaining product quality and ensuring timely availability of café supplies.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and purchase food, beverages, kitchen supplies, packaging, cleaning materials and other café essentials.
• Compare supplier quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules within approved budgets.
• Check received materials for quality, quantity, freshness and required specifications.
• Maintain suitable stock levels to prevent shortages, overstocking and unnecessary wastage.
• Oversee receiving, storage and issuing of materials, following FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Update purchasing and inventory records accurately, conduct stock checks and resolve discrepancies.
• Evaluate existing suppliers and identify reliable alternatives for better pricing, quality and availability.
• Coordinate with chefs, kitchen staff and operations teams to plan purchases based on consumption and business needs.

• Minimum 1–2 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in a restaurant, café, hotel or F&B business.
• Knowledge of F&B products, local UAE suppliers and market pricing.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management and price-comparison skills.
• Experience in inventory control, storeroom operations and purchasing or inventory software.
• Understanding of FIFO/FEFO practices and expiry control.
• Good communication, coordination and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage responsibilities independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• UAE experience preferred; candidates based in Abu Dhabi will be given preference.
