Role Overview

The Procurement Operations Analyst supports the efficient operation of the procurement function through the delivery of procurement processes, spend analytics, supplier data management, contract administration, and Employee Resource Programme (ERP) system support. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate procurement data, producing management reporting, supporting procurement governance activities, and helping drive process improvements across the procurement lifecycle.

Key Duties and Responsibilities Procurement Operations
  • Support day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring procurement processes are executed efficiently and in line with established procedures.
  • Provide operational support to internal stakeholders and assist with procurement-related queries and requests.
  • Support the continuous improvement and standardization of procurement processes and controls.
Procurement Analytics & Reporting
  • Prepare regular procurement reports and analysis to support management decision-making.
  • Produce monthly spend analysis reports, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Analyse procurement and supplier data to identify cost-saving and value creation opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain procurement dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools.
  • Maintain accurate supplier and procurement data within procurement and ERP systems.
  • Support the collection, validation, cleansing, and organization of procurement data to ensure data integrity.
  • Monitor and resolve data quality issues, working with stakeholders to maintain consistent data standards.
  • Support supplier master data management and ongoing vendor record maintenance.
ERP & Systems Support
  • Support procurement-related ERP initiatives, including data migration, testing, and system enhancements.
  • Assist with process mapping, user acceptance testing, and validation of procurement system functionality.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to support the successful implementation and ongoing optimization of procurement systems.
  • Ensure procurement data is accurately maintained within ERP platforms and supporting systems.
Contract & Procurement Governance
  • Support contract administration activities, including maintaining contract records and repositories.
  • Ensure appropriate approvals and supporting documentation are obtained in accordance with delegated authorities and procurement governance requirements.
  • Monitor third-party spend and procurement activity to support compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining procurement documentation and audit-ready records.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in procurement, procurement operations, spend analysis, or a related analytical role.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and procurement platforms.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Experience working with large datasets and procurement-related information.
