Service Parts Planner

Position Summary:

Experienced planner position that directs and controls the planning, processing, and scheduling activities related to Service Parts demand. It entails routing demand to the appropriate resources; internal service warehouses, EEE factories, and procurement. It is responsible for end-to-end service parts planning, inventory optimization, replenishment strategy, and supply continuity across multiple regions and distribution centers. Focus on weighing customer demand, contractual commitments, inventory investment, and supply constraints.

It will aim to maximize availability to customers and minimize downtime for service distribution centers.

Execute and oversee Oracle ERP transactions, MRP recommendations, planning parameters, component lead time maintenance, item master data and sourcing rule maintenance, and inventory accuracy controls. Validates, processes, and routes daily parts demand into appropriate requisitions. Plan demand and replenishment for spare parts, define safety stock and reorder policy; coordinate repairable and purchased parts, monitor inventory health; elevate shortages;
Collaborate with global manufacturing plants, warehouses, suppliers, procurement teams, logistics providers, and regional service organizations to improve supply chain performance. Produces/reviews KPI reports (e.g.., service level, fill rate, OTIF, backlog aging, inventory turns, stockout rate, forecast accuracy, excess and obsolete inventory and working capital performance, etc.) in daily, weekly, and monthly cadences. Builds fulfillment scenarios, tracks demand forecasts, and presents strategic plans to management.

Responsible for full end-to-end regional spare parts planning and inventory management and replenishment. Act as the primary regional planning liaison, balancing complex manufacturing and logistics processes to ensure service deliverables such as improve forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, and supply chain resilience. Regular contact with all departments within Ebara Elliott Energy, especially internal manufacturing plants, other distribution centers, and external suppliers.

Collaborates with service teams to understand customer needs. Leads regional planning reviews and communicates risks, mitigation actions, and strategic recommendations to management. Decisions are based on extensive acumen and seasoning, emphasizing careful weighing of customer impact and contractual obligations. Operates independently with broad authority within established supply chain and inventory management policies. Makes complex decisions regarding inventory positioning, replenishment strategies, allocation priorities, and supply recovery actions.

Expected to anticipate supply risks proactively and implement corrective actions with minimal management direction.

Bachelor Degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain. Minimum 3-5 years experience in supply chain / inventory planning. Computer skills and software proficiency for Microsoft office (especially Excel and MS Project or equivalent scheduling software). Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite) is a strong plus. Advanced proficiency in Oracle ERP, MRP systems, inventory planning tools, and advanced Excel analytics for complex KPI reporting.

Strong understanding of supply chain, inventory control, and logistics. Ability to leverage data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or equivalent business intelligence platforms.
