Job Description & How to Apply Below
- Knowledge about UAE and GCC region + cross border customs processes
- Updated knowledge about geo-political situation in GCC and world (Shipping routes, airlines, sipping lines, etc)
- In depth knowledge about International INCO-TERMS
- In depth knowledge about international payment terms for sourcing and logistics as Letter of Credit etc
- Experience of handling SEA / AIR / COURIER / ROAD FREIGHT – Free zone in GCC and cross border in GCC shipments
- Capability to manage zero demurrage and storage KPI for all imports
- Coordinate shipment bookings, collections, transportation, and deliveries
- Prepare and verify commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading (B/L), Air Waybills (AWB), Certificates of Origin (COO), and delivery orders
- Coordinate with customs authorities, clearing agents, and freight forwarders
- Prepare and follow up on customs declarations and clearance documents
- Ensure compliance with applicable customs and free-zone requirements
- Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transport companies, and clearing agents
- Follow up on shipment delays, container movements, and delivery schedules
Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in shipping, logistics, and import/export operations.
- Knowledge of customs procedures and shipping documentation.
- Familiarity with freight forwarding, Incoterms, and customs clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and ERP systems such as SAP.
- Strong coordination, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and meet strict deadlines
