Overview

Cleaner/Janitor

• Overall workplace presentation; keep facilities, conference room, and usual locations clean and preserved
• Preserve a clean work environment and cooking area locations, including cleaning countertops and cabinet fronts, and scrubbing cooking area sinks
• Clean all appliances (fridge, microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven, kettle)
• Dust furnishings, benches, windows, and doors
• Vacuum, sweep, and wipe floors (outside work hours)
• Empty the dishwasher and put away dishware and flatware
• Collect and dispose of waste
• Weekly grocery shopping
• Attend to staff items (breakfast bar, fruit, and so on)
• Notify Office Supervisor of any repairs called for
• Other office administration responsibilities as needed

• Clean kitchen area, bathrooms, and rooms — dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
• Deep clean carpeted and non-carpeted locations, soft furnishings and bed linen components, and fittings
• Windows and walls upkeep
• Clean kitchen surfaces and equipment, including microwave, oven, and refrigerator
• Collect and dispose of waste
• Record maintenance problems
• Maintain security of bedrooms and materials
• Be responsible for a set of keys and ensure the property is secured
