Project Site supervisor Kitchens and Joinery works
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor for Kitchen Cabinets and Joinery Works to oversee the installation, quality control, and coordination of kitchen cabinet works across a 200-villa residential project. The ideal candidate will ensure timely completion, high-quality finishes, and compliance with design and safety standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage daily site operations related to kitchen cabinet installation across multiple villas.
Coordinate with subcontractors, carpenters, and installers to ensure timely execution of work.
Ensure work is performed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Conduct site inspections and ensure proper alignment, fitting, and finishing of kitchen cabinets.
Report progress, issues, and delays to the Project Manager.
Schedule and manage the sequence of work to optimize time and minimize rework.
Verify delivered materials match approved samples and shop drawings.
Monitor and enforce health and safety standards on-site.
Assist in resolving technical issues and propose practical solutions during installation.
Liaise with the design and procurement teams for any material or drawing discrepancies.
Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and submit them to project management.
Perform final snagging and supervise rectification works prior to handover.
Qualifications & ExperienceDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or relevant technical field (preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in supervising kitchen cabinet or interior fit-out installations, with at least 2 large-scale villa or housing projects.
Strong knowledge of kitchen cabinet systems, materials (MDF, plywood, laminate, hardware), and installation techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proven experience in managing site labor, subcontractors, and quality control.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Familiarity with site safety practices and regulations.
Additional RequirementsAbility to manage multiple teams across different villa clusters.
Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends if required to meet project deadlines.
Valid driver’s license (if site mobility is needed).
Preferred SkillsExperience with modular kitchens and modern cabinet hardware systems (e.g., Blum, Hettich).
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD (for reading drawings), and reporting tools.
