Responsibilities
- Supervise piping fabrication, installation, erection, modification, and maintenance activities
- Coordinate daily activities of pipe fitters, welders, fabricators, riggers, and helpers
- Review isometric drawings, P amp IDs, spool drawings and construction specifications before execution
- Monitor pipe routing, alignment, support installation, and tie‑in activities
- Ensure piping works are performed according to approved drawings, procedures, and project requirements
- Coordinate hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, flushing, cleaning, reinstatement and commissioning activities
- Verify material availability and coordinate with stores and procurement teams
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as ASME, ANSI, API and client specifications
- Monitor welding activities and ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved WPS, PQR requirements
- Ensure adherence to HSE regulations, permit‑to‑work requirements and safe lifting practices
- Track daily progress, manpower productivity and material consumption
- Prepare daily reports and communicate work progress to management
- Support project completion, pre‑commissioning, commissioning and handover activities
Minimum 5 8 years of experience in piping construction, fabrication, and installation. At least 2 3 years of experience in a supervisory role. Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Plant, Industrial, EPC, or Construction projects is preferred. Strong knowledge of carbon steel, stainless steel, GRE, HDPE, and other industrial piping systems.
