Job Description- Supervise piping fabrication, installation, erection, modification, and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate daily activities of pipe fitters, welders, fabricators, riggers, and helpers.
- Review isometric drawings, P&IDs, spool drawings, and construction specifications before execution.
- Monitor pipe routing, alignment, support installation, and tie‑in activities.
- Ensure piping works are performed according to approved drawings, procedures, and project requirements.
- Coordinate hydro‑testing, pneumatic testing, flushing, cleaning, reinstatement, and commissioning activities.
- Verify material availability and coordinate with stores and procurement teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as ASME, ANSI, API, and client specifications.
- Monitor welding activities and ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved WPS/PQR requirements.
- Ensure adherence to HSE regulations, permit‑to‑work requirements, and safe lifting practices.
- Track daily progress, manpower productivity, and material consumption.
- Prepare daily reports and communicate work progress to management.
- Support project completion, pre‑commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in piping construction, fabrication, and installation. At least 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role. Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Plant, Industrial, EPC, or Construction projects is preferred. Strong knowledge of carbon steel, stainless steel, GRE, HDPE, and other industrial piping systems.
