- at least three years of welding experience
- knowledge of welding techniques
- familiarity with different types of metals
- good physical stamina
- excellent attention to detail
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- reading blueprints, sketches or instructions for each project
- setting up welding machines and tools according to specifications
- ensuring that all safety protocols are being met while working on projects
- inspecting finished products for quality assurance purposes
- providing repair services when needed
