The role focuses on maintaining equipment availability, ensuring preventive maintenance is completed to a high standard, reinforcing health and safety practices, and supporting continuous improvement across warehouse and delivery network technologies.
The Facilities Coordinator will work hands‑on with Material Handling Equipment, troubleshoot equipment issues, coach technicians and support shift supervision when the line manager is unavailable. The position also includes contractor management, equipment performance monitoring and project coordination within a fast-moving operational environment.

The Reliability Maintenance Engineering team maintains and optimizes technologies used throughout Amazon 's warehouse and delivery network. As Facilities Coordinator, you will support the safe and reliable operation of equipment within the facility. The role combines hands‑on technical work with maintenance coordination, technician support, contractor management and performance monitoring.
Health and Safety- Reinforce safe working practices during maintenance activities.
- Monitor work taking place around operational equipment.
- Support adherence to relevant safety regulations and policies.
- Maintain safety awareness when troubleshooting or coordinating technical work.
- Help ensure contractors operate appropriately within the facility.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of Material Handling Equipment used within the building.
- Work hands‑on with Material Handling Equipment.
- Support timely preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Prioritize faults according to operational requirements.
- Help maintain high levels of equipment availability.
- Support reliable operation of facility systems.

The Facilities Coordinator is expected to develop and demonstrate Subject Matter Expert‑level knowledge of Material Handling Equipment within the facility. This knowledge will be applied to equipment troubleshooting, maintenance activities and technician support. The role requires the ability to evaluate technical problems, prioritize issues effectively and help restore equipment availability for internal operational customers.
Technician Coaching and Shift SupportProvide day‑to‑day guidance to technicians working on shift.
