About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vessel Operation Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will oversee the operation and maintenance of our fleet of vessels, ensuring safe and efficient operations at all times.

Star Services LLC is a leading provider of integrated services in the United Arab Emirates, offering engineering, construction, and project management services for oil and gas, marine, and power generation industries.

This full‑time, permanent role offers competitive compensation and benefits. The Manager will manage day‑to‑day operations, develop procedures, monitor performance, ensure compliance, coordinate stakeholders, recruit and develop crew, maintain client relationships, control budgets, and prepare senior management reports.

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the fleet, including crew, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and policies to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations.
• Monitor vessel performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards.
• Manage and coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost‑effective maintenance and repair of vessels.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and development of vessel crew members.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Monitor and control vessel operating budgets and expenses.
• Prepare reports and presentations on vessel operations for senior management.

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in vessel operations management, preferably in the marine industry.
• Strong knowledge of vessel operations, maintenance, and repair.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
