Role OverviewThe Senior HSE Manager will be responsible for leading the company's overall health, safety, and environmental strategy across multiple large-scale contracting projects. This role requires a seasoned leader with extensive experience in HSE management who can drive organizational safety culture, ensure compliance with international standards, and provide strategic oversight to project-level HSE teams.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership- Define and implement the company-wide HSE strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
- Provide leadership and oversight to project-level HSE managers and teams.
- Ensure integration of HSE practices into all phases of project delivery.
- Establish robust HSE governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, international standards, and client requirements.
- Oversee audits, inspections, and reporting to executive leadership and regulatory authorities.
- Identify and mitigate risks across multiple projects and operations.
- Lead investigations of major incidents and ensure preventive measures are implemented.
- Develop emergency response strategies and crisis management plans.
- Drive company-wide HSE training and competency development programs.
- Mentor and develop HSE managers and professionals across the organization.
- Promote continuous improvement and innovation in HSE practices.
- Represent the company in HSE matters with clients, regulators, and industry bodies.
- Build strong relationships with external stakeholders to enhance compliance and reputation.
- Extensive experience in senior HSE leadership roles within contracting, construction, or infrastructure organizations.
- Strong expertise in HSE governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead large teams and drive organizational safety culture.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field; advanced professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor) preferred.
