Leads the workshop team to ensure the effective planning, execution, and management of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational excellence. Responsible for overseeing the preparation, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment, while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Ensures alignment with organizational goals and contributes to the development of strategies to optimize workshop operations and resource utilization.
Promotes a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to meet operational requirements and achieve business objectives. Provides leadership and guidance to the team, fostering professional growth and development. Ensures adherence to company policies, procedures, and international standards in all workshop activities.
ACCOUNTABILITIES Job Specific
- Plan and supervise the preparation, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment to ensure timely and efficient operations.
- Lead the workshop team in executing maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational excellence.
- Review and recommend improvements in workshop processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee the implementation of HSE policies and procedures within the workshop environment.
- Facilitate the development and execution of maintenance planning strategies and schedules.
- Supervise the inspection and testing of equipment to ensure quality and reliability.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet operational requirements and resolve issues.
- Monitor and manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including engineering drawings and specifications.
- Lead the implementation of lean practices, such as the '5S Model,' to improve workshop operations.
- Guide the team in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges.
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the workshop team.
