Head of Development

Role Description The Owner role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Owner will oversee overall business strategy, operations, and financial performance, ensuring that services align with the company’s mission of strengthening critical infrastructure resilience. Daily tasks include setting organizational goals, managing key client relationships, guiding project priorities, and supervising senior staff to ensure effective delivery of solutions.

The Owner will review operational and financial reports, make decisions on resource allocation, and approve major investments or partnerships. This role also involves representing the company in stakeholder meetings, industry events, and regulatory discussions, while fostering a culture of compliance, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure resilience, risk management, or related fields, with the ability to oversee complex projects and services.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, including experience directing cross-functional teams and mentoring senior staff.
• Proven business management capabilities, including strategic planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with public and private sector partners.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to critical infrastructure in Nigeria or similar environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Public Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to make data-informed decisions, manage risk, and drive continuous operational improvement.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and commitment to safety and community impact.
