- Develop and implement comprehensive environmental management systems (EMS) aligned with Abu Dhabi's regulatory framework and international standards like ISO
- Oversee all environmental compliance activities, ensuring adherence to local laws, permits, and reporting requirements from entities like the Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi (EAD).
- Conduct regular environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for new projects and operational changes, proposing mitigation strategies to minimize ecological footprint.
- Manage waste management programs, focusing on reduction, reuse, recycling, and safe disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as Certified Environmental Manager (CEM) or NEBOSH Environmental Management.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in environmental management, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.
Proven track record in implementing and managing ISO 14001 certified Environmental Management Systems.
