Manager, Value Development

Lead the development and refinement of In-Country Value (ICV) Strategy and execution, which aims to increase GDP diversification of the UAE (value-add to the local economy), Emiratisation (increasing employment opportunities for the local workforce) and Strategic considerations (localising strategically critical parts and materials of the supply chain for selected categories).

In-Country Value Development

• Lead, develop, implement and refine of ICV strategy, policy and procedures.
• Drive the design and development of ICV program in consultation with all relevant stakeholders.
• Work with all key external stakeholders including ADNOC’s top suppliers, business organizations, and act as the liaison specifically with governmental organizations to drive the ICV strategy.
• Participate in the identification and communication of business opportunities to locally fill supply chain gaps and help to effectively communicate these opportunities within UAE business community, governmental agencies, and ADNOC supply chain in order to diversify the economy by driving investment and SME development.
• Coordinate with category management, business planning and procurement planning teams with in ADNOC to understand the forecasted requirements, analyse and derive the ICV potential.
• Communicate ICV strategy to Internal stakeholders (i.e., ADNOC Management, ADNOC Group procurement teams).
• Communicate ICV strategy to external stakeholders (i.e., suppliers, government authorities etc.) to educate how the ICV program will affect Supplier operations.
• Support ICV Execution Department and ADNOC Group procurement units with inputs which can be used in the tendering process (i.e., minimum ICV targets for selected categories and price negotiation with highest ICV suppliers during Commercial Evaluation).
• Work with various UAE and Emirates Government organizations and other external bodies to support development of their similar programs, as required, upon approval of ADNOC Management.
• Interact with ADNOC Group Company Management to obtain their feedback and accordingly carry out the required modifications in the ICV guidelines.
• Obtain constant feedback from ICV Execution department on the challenges being faced by different stakeholders in implementing the program, analyse the feedback and enhance the program as required.
• Act as an ambassador for the ADNOC ICV program through attendance and presentations at business forums, trade shows and events
• Coordinate with communication team to ensure the development and execution of the ICV communications and marketing program to ensure that ADNOC ICV program outcomes and impact on UAE is understood internally and externally
• To lead and manage the team in such a way that demonstrates ADNOC values.
• Ensure the development of all staff and to provide leadership opportunities so that people can develop their skills and capabilities.
• Maintain 100% HSE performance.

Management

• Plan and supervise the activities of the personnel and resources of the Department to achieve the Division objectives in an efficient and cost-conscious manner while ensuring implementation of approved operational plans for the Department in line with Division objectives.
• Develop the knowledge, competencies and innovative spirit in the Department and support the establishment of Personal Development Plans (PDP’s), Succession Planning and Talent pipeline within the Department in coordination with the Human Capability Group to continuously develop employees with emphasis on UAE Nationals to meet Emiratization targets.
