The Cabin Cleaning Supervisor supervises Team Leaders and cabin cleaning teams across assigned shifts. The role is responsible for ensuring high-quality cabin appearance standards, efficient resource utilization, on-time turnaround performance, safety compliance and effective coordination with airline representatives and operational stakeholders.

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Supervise Team Leaders and cabin cleaning teams to ensure efficient shift operations and service delivery.
  • Manage manpower, equipment, and consumable allocation to meet operational requirements and turnaround targets.
  • Monitor cleaning quality, productivity, and performance KPIs, taking corrective action when required.
  • Lead disruption management, service recovery activities, and resolution of operational issues.
  • Conduct quality reviews, investigate recurring service failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with airline representatives and internal stakeholders on operational priorities and service delivery.
  • Prepare shift reports covering performance, resource utilization, incidents, and service outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, hygiene, chemical handling, and waste management standards.
  • Coach and support Team Leaders to enhance team performance and operational effectiveness.

Job Overview
As a Cabin Cleaning Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the cleanliness and presentation of aircraft cabins, ensuring that operational standards are surpassed and service efficiency is maintained across all shifts under your management. You will lead, mentor, and coordinate with Team Leaders and cleaning teams to deliver a spotless and comfortable environment for passengers, working closely with airline representatives and various internal departments to align on priority goals and timelines.

  • Lead and supervise multiple Team Leaders and their teams, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment focused on excellence and safety.
  • Efficiently allocate resources including manpower, cleaning equipment, and supplies to meet specific flight turnaround schedules without compromising quality.
  • Maintain rigorous monitoring of cabin cleanliness, productivity metrics, and key performance indicators, implementing immediate improvements when necessary to address service gaps.
  • Take ownership of managing disruptions or setbacks, facilitating prompt service recovery while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality assessments to identify root causes of recurring issues and institute effective corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with airline officials and other operational teams to synchronize activities and elevate matters requiring resolution.
  • Prepare comprehensive shift reports detailing performance outcomes, resource consumption, incident logs, and any recommendations for process improvements.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety regulations, security protocols, chemical usage guidelines, and environmental waste management standards.
  • Provide continuous support and guidance to Team Leaders aimed at enhancing team dynamics, operational adherence, and overall service delivery efficiency.
Education & Experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and manage diverse teams in a high-paced operational environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail combined with a strong commitment to upholding high service standards.
  • Capacity for swift and decisive decision-making when managing time-sensitive operations under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication skills to facilitate clear coordination among teams, management, and external partners.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Completion of secondary education or equivalent certification; qualifications in aviation, hospitality, facilities management, or operational disciplines are highly advantageous.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, with additional language skills considered a plus to support diverse operational environments.
  • A minimum of three years’ professional experience in aircraft cleaning, cabin maintenance, airport ground operations, or relevant fields.
