We are seeking an experienced Director Asset Management to provide strategic leadership across asset management, engineering governance, maintenance planning and infrastructure lifecycle management, ensuring operational excellence, asset reliability and long-term value optimisation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement asset management strategies, lifecycle plans and capital investment programmes.
- Oversee asset performance, reliability, maintenance governance and infrastructure renewal initiatives.
- Lead preventive, predictive and risk-based maintenance strategies to optimise asset availability.
- Manage asset information systems, including EAM, CMMS, BIM, CAFM and digital asset management platforms.
- Oversee asset risk management, regulatory compliance, technical audits and quality assurance programmes.
- Manage contractor and service-provider performance against KPIs, SLAs and contractual requirements.
- Drive capital expenditure planning, asset replacement strategies and infrastructure investment priorities.
- Lead business continuity, operational resilience and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial or related discipline).
- Minimum 16 years of relevant experience, including at least 6 years in people management.
- Strong background in Asset Management, Engineering Management, Facilities Management or Infrastructure Management.
- Extensive experience in asset lifecycle management, maintenance governance, reliability engineering and capital investment planning.
- Strong knowledge of EAM, CMMS, BIM, CAFM and asset performance management systems.
- Familiarity with ISO 55001, statutory compliance and asset management best practices.
- Proven leadership experience managing large-scale, complex and asset-intensive operations.
- Excellent strategic planning, financial management and stakeholder engagement skills.
