We are looking for an experienced and results-driven General Manager - Fleet Operations & Maintenance to lead our fleet operations, maintenance, workshop activities, fleet utilization, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead fleet operations and maintenance for light vehicles, heavy vehicles, buses, and equipment.
- Maximize fleet utilization, vehicle availability, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to improve productivity, reduce downtime, and control costs.
- Manage preventive maintenance, workshop performance, and vehicle reliability.
- Support management in business development, tender submissions, pricing, and commercial strategies.
- Build strong relationships with key clients, government entities, and oil & gas companies.
- Drive profitability, operational excellence, HSE compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and develop multidisciplinary operations and maintenance teams.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- MBA in Operations, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.
- 15-20 years of relevant experience in fleet operations and maintenance, including at least 8 years in senior leadership.
- Strong UAE experience in transport, logistics, heavy equipment, or oil & gas support services.
- Proven expertise in managing large-scale fleets, KPI development, cost control, and client relationship management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and business development support skills.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Odoo, GPS, or fleet management systems is an advantage.
