The successful individual will be responsible for shaping and executing the technology procurement strategy

• Strategic Category Leadership: Develop and execute procurement strategies across technology and IT services, aligned with wider organisational objectives.
• Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with senior technology and business leaders to influence major procurement decisions and investment programmes.
• Commercial Leadership: Oversee complex sourcing initiatives, high-value negotiations and strategic supplier agreements.
• People Leadership: Lead, develop and mentor a team of procurement professionals, driving performance and procurement excellence.
• Strategic Supplier Management: Manage critical technology supplier relationships, ensuring commercial value, service excellence and risk mitigation.
• Value Creation: Identify and deliver opportunities for cost optimisation, commercial improvement and long-term value.
• Governance & Transformation: Drive procurement best practices, strengthen governance and contribute to the continued evolution of the procurement function.

• Extensive senior-level experience in technology / IT procurement
  , ideally within a major multinational or large, complex organisation.
• Proven track record of leading substantial technology procurement portfolios and complex strategic sourcing programmes.
• Demonstrable experience managing and developing high-performing procurement teams.
• Strong commercial expertise across technology supplier markets, contractual frameworks and complex negotiations.
• Excellent executive stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
• Strategic mindset with a track record of delivering measurable commercial improvements.
• Experience operating within structured, governance-driven environments.
• Relevant degree or professional qualification; advanced qualifications advantageous.
