As a Senior Roll, Stand & Guide Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of rolling mill equipment, including rolls, stands, and guides. You will work closely with our production team to ensure the smooth operation of our rolling mills and to minimize downtime.

• Install, maintain, and repair rolling mill equipment, including rolls, stands, and guides.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with production team to schedule maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Train and mentor junior fitters and provide guidance on best practices and safety procedures.
• Keep detailed records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor equipment performance and make recommendations for improvements or upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Roll, Stand & Guide Fitter in a steel manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of rolling mill equipment and processes.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
