Senior Technician – RM 5 Mechanical Shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Continued)- Strong problem‑solving skills; ability to handle multiple, diverse and changing responsibilities and follow complex instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Detail‑oriented, organized and self‑motivated with ability to work independently
- Communication – report writing and verbal proficiency in English and Arabic
- Technical knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance of rolling mill
- Knowledge and skill in troubleshooting of rolling mill
- Understanding of engineering drawings and hydraulic circuits
- Works with hand tools, measuring tools, portable tools and tackles
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Knowledge of rigging and slinging
- Basic computer literacy
- Diploma in Engineering
- 5–6 years as a technician/fitter in a steel plant
- 7–8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance of a steel plant as a Sr. technician / mechanic
