CNC Machinist

Ethos Energy – Responsible for operating CNC lathes, specifically Hankook Protec 9NC, ensuring production of required products within specified time frames and quality standards.

• Set-up and operate CNC machines following manufacturers' instructions to fulfill work orders.
• Conduct visual checks of cutting tools and materials, replace tools, and report defects to the Workshop Supervisor.
• Operate machines safely, maintaining QHSE policies.
• Coordinate with QC Inspector after task completion.
• Execute 曾 hand‑over at shift changes, communicating specific work or safety information.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, sequences, and setup requirements.
• Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out‑of‑tolerance machining, adjusting controls as needed.
• Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials.
• Perform other related field, maintenance or shop duties assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain general housekeeping and cleanliness of the work area.
• Program Fanuc CNC controls.
• Set and operate CNC lathes (HANKOOK 9NC, DOOSAN 800, DOOSAN 400).
• All other duties as assigned.

• Expertise in programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes, especially Hankook Protec 9NC.
• Experience programming Fanuc 21i-TB and Fanuc 32i Model B controls.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring equipment for dimensional checking.
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

• Trade machinist background.
• Minimum 7 years working with CNC lathes.
• Minimum 3 years operating Hankook Protec 9NC.
• Experience in API equipment manufacture and repair.
• API threading experience.
• Premium threading experience (desirable).
• Extensive workshop experience for oil and gas companies preferred.

• Trade machinist certification.
• Matriculation certificate preferredkend.

• Light physical effort.
• Ability to work in an industrial workshop environment.
• Potential travel across the Middle East and GCC countries.
