We are seeking an experienced Facility Maintainance Supervisor to oversee the smooth operation, maintenance, and compliance of our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The role is critical in ensuring that infrastructure, utilities, safety systems, and support services operate efficiently and in full compliance with GMP, EHS, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day facility operations, including buildings, utilities, and infrastructure
- Oversee maintenance of HVAC, water systems, compressed air, electrical systems, and critical utilities
- Ensure facility compliance with EDE
, GMP, EHS, MOHAP, and local regulatory requirements - Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
- Manage external vendors, service providers, and contractors
- Oversee facility documentation, SOPs, logs, and audit readiness
- Support inspections, audits, and regulatory visits
- Ensure workplace safety, emergency preparedness, and risk mitigation
- Optimize operational efficiency, cost control, and sustainability initiatives
- Work closely with Engineering, QA, Production, and EHS teams
- HVAC systems (classified areas, clean rooms, AHUs)
- Compressed air & vacuum systems
- Steam boilers and chillers
- Electrical systems, DG sets & UPS
- Firefighting & safety systems
- Production-support equipment and utilities
- Utility monitoring, alarms, and BMS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in facility management, preferably in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or GMP-regulated environments
- Strong understanding of GMP utilities and compliance requirements
- Experience managing contractors and service agreements
- Knowledge of UAE safety regulations and EHS standards
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
