U.S. Citizenship and Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship required. Active and transferable DoD Secret clearance required prior to start date.

The FSAMG Engineer will:

• Perform PMCS, organizational repair, and maintenance of communications equipment at eight FSAMG sites and the Air Operations Center (AOC) and Alternative Air Operations Center (AAOC).
• Provide technical advice and demonstration of methods to UAE military personnel and authorized contractors on testing, maintenance, repair, configuration, and operation of all PATRIOT communications equipment.
• Monitor, report on, and configure FSAMG building and tower equipment, UHF/VHF radios, COMSEC, IP routers, servers, cabling, and related components.
• Configure replacement CISCO Integrated Service Routers and CISCO Call Management Servers, troubleshoot routing and connectivity, and install site‑specific configurations for routers, switches, and servers.
• Operate and troubleshoot multiple network analyzers and troubleshoot networks using manual and automated means.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities with Battalion and CMF personnel.
• Advise on communications planning for fixed sites and tactical deployments and certify as a Communications Tower Worker.

• Experience in monitoring, operating, testing, fault verification, maintenance, and repair of PATRIOT FSAMG equipment, including UHF/VHF radio hardware and test equipment.
• Ability to configure, operate, and restore network components such as routers, switches, and servers.
• Knowledge of configuring CISCO Integrated Service Routers and CISCO Call Management Servers, including troubleshooting and testing complex routing and connectivity.
• Proficiency in operating multiple network analyzers and troubleshooting networks with manual and automated tools.
• Ability to produce equipment status reports and network requirement analyses. Must be CCNA and Windows Server 7 qualified.
• Certification as a Communications Tower Worker.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

• Previous experience in International Patriot FMS Programs.
• Experience living and working overseas.
• Skill in troubleshooting and repairing SINCGARS, MIDS terminals, JTIDS, and similar radios.
• Experience with ATDL‑1, Link‑11, Link‑16, and PADIL operations.
• Experience with CPX‑200/300, MLT‑220, and international digital switch multiplexing equipment.
• Knowledge of repairing secure digital fiber optic links and networks.

Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of related experience; or Associate’s Degree with 8 years’ experience; or HS Diploma/GED with 12 years of related experience.
