Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spare Parts Technician to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory of spare parts and ensuring their timely availability for various projects and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and equipment, including tracking and recording all incoming and outgoing items.
  • Ensure timely availability of spare parts for various projects and operations, in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of spare parts to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source spare parts and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing.
  • Conduct regular audits of the spare parts inventory to identify and address any discrepancies or issues.
  • Prepare and maintain reports on spare parts usage, stock levels, and procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and operations, to identify spare parts needs and ensure timely availability.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when handling spare parts and equipment.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry developments and new technologies related to spare parts management.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in spare parts management is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in spare parts management, preferably in the oil and gas or power industry.
  • Strong knowledge of spare parts and equipment used in the industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Valid driver's license.
