Plant Operator - ADNOC - Abu Dhabi, UAEPosition Overview
ADNOC is hiring a Plant Operator in Abu Dhabi, UAE to operate and monitor process plants and facilities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and HSE standards. The role involves routine equipment checks, adjustments, and supporting maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

- Operate assigned plant equipment and systems safely in line with SOPs
- Conduct routine checks to identify abnormalities and report defects for timely servicing
- Adjust operating parameters such as speeds, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates
- Prepare plant and equipment for maintenance and ensure synchronization with other systems
- Receive chemicals, prepare batches, and maintain stock and consumption records
- Operate related machinery safely and efficiently in compliance with ADNOC standards
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental management procedures
- Obtain work permits, monitor contractor activities, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Support emergency response as Auxiliary Fireman or Site Safety Officer when required
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to complete tasks efficiently
- Contribute to KPI checklists and progress reports for management review
- Maintain housekeeping and hygiene standards at all times
- Support on‑job training initiatives to contribute to UAE Nationalization goals
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in plant operations and procedures
- Technical Diploma in a relevant field or Secondary School Certificate
- Minimum 4 years of experience in plant operations within large industrial plants, preferably in the Oil and Energy sector
- Strong knowledge of operational procedures, safety standards, and HSE practices
- Ability to operate and monitor plant equipment, machinery, and related systems
- Skilled in chemical handling, batch preparation, and record‑keeping
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for coordination across functions
- Physically fit to handle occasional fieldwork under prevailing weather conditions
