Welder

Responsibilities

• Operate high‑heat welding equipment to join, cut, and repair metal parts.
• Read blueprints and work specifications to determine welding techniques.
• Use MIG, TIG, Stick, and Butt Fusion welding machines for small and large components.
• Prepare and inspect weld surfaces to meet quality standards.
• Follow strict safety protocols in construction or manufacturing environments.
• Set up welding machines and fabricate components for precise fit.
• Maintain welding equipment and collaborate with other professionals to produce strong, durable metal bonds.

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding or related field preferred.
• Certification in welding from a recognized institution (e.g., AWS, ASME).
• At least 5 years of hands‑on welding experience in industrial or construction settings.
• Experience working with steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
